Listening to English songs is fun and they help your listening practice too.  You don't need to understand all the words - you can understand if the song is sad, happy angry etc. from the sound!

Listen to Yellow by Coldplay and do the activity here.
This week I have an Elementary book for you with activity questions.

There are lots of new words in this story.  This is good practice for you because you are almost at EB3 level.  I hope you like it.

How to make a vocabulary bag

To help you remember new or difficult words.

On pieces of paper write:

WORD                                (intelligent - adj)
MEANING                           (=clever, opposite of stupid)
EXAMPLE SENTENCE        (Einstein was very ___________)

On the other side of the paper you can write the Turkish word.  Put all the paper in a plastic bag.

How do you play the game?
Take 1 card from your bag and look at it.
If you see the Turkish word then say the English word.
If you see the English word, say the Turkish word.

This is a good way to practice before an English test.

How old is her mother?

How many brothers and sisters does she have?
